Pinoy Meets World visits London

     “Pinoy Meets World” is a monthly travel programme starring Paolo Bediones and Miriam Quiambao, aired every Sunday evenings by GMA Network.
     The show has different guest host for every country. The first asian travel was to Brunie and was guest hosted by Ruffa Mae Quinto. They also visited Laos with Mike “Pekto” Nacua (Cookie) & John Feir (Belly). Morocco the first African feature with Angelica Jones & Alyssa Alano followed by Kenya with Pia Archangel & Tonypet Gaba , Nepal with Maverick Relova & Ariel Villasanta. Turkey the first European country visited with Joyce Jimenez followed by Switzerland with Paolo & Suzie Abrera, Spain Howie Severino & Mariz Umali then Italy with Love Anover.


     The show was awarded with the Best Travel Show Hosts (Paolo Bediones & Miriam Quiambao), 2007 PMPC Star Awards for TV. “Pinoy Meets World” recently visited London, their first contact in London was Khristheo, he recommended Philippine Generations and contact various Filipino groups in London.



    Philippine Generations helped the crew coordinate the tourist spots according to their itinerary. Vincent Fajilagmago, vise chair of PG showed the camera man Ten Ten, the two producers May and Tops and the guest host Drew Arellano. He gave them a tour around London including the famous fish and chip shop the Roc&Sole Plaice, Soho district, Buckingham Palace, Changing of the guards, Camden Market and the London Eye.


    The crew also shot a Gothic shop where the guest host dressed up as a goth and was invited to a goth party.

    The crew and PG executive met at the pub John Snow in Soho where you can order a “man in a box” where Pinoy meets world team and PG executive enjoyed a well earned pint of beers.
