We are overwhelmed by the support of the international community, and it is humbling to witness such generosity. The big charitable organisations have mobilised their staff to maximise relief efforts in the affected areas, and reinforcements from countries’ armed forces have also been sent to provide manpower and resources. It is fantastic and heartwarming, and makes us believe in the goodness of humanity.
Each person, community group or organisation is looking for ways in which to help, and we at Philippine Generations would like to help you do so by actively identifying local organisations which you can support and by making this information available to you. We have already listed a few which you can see on the Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda tab above. This is a list that we will be updating from time to time as we learn about more organisations.

The 4th Annual Philippine Independence Day World Cup 2013 is nearly here. Fresh from their second consecutive triumph, Bora Warriors have the opportunity to keep the current trophy IF they do the Hat-Trick and win for a third consecutive year!

Join us in making traditional Christmas lanterns! Every year we are honoured that there are many Filipinos and non Filipinos participate at this seasonal event with their friends and families. They all put a lot of efforts to build their own lanterns and everyone helping each other;
This course follows on from the Beginners level, which served as an introduction to the Filipino language. The Elementary course will focus on grammatical points in order to build confidence in constructing sentences and expressing yourself in Filipino. This course will also work on listening, reading and writing skills to increase the students’ exposure to the language through various media.
The Elementary level will be suitable for students who attended the Beginners course with Philippine Generations and those who have done some other Filipino/Tagalog course, self-study or similar. This will not be suitable for absolute beginners as basic familiarity of the language is required.
